Bronze Cast is the My Little Pony version of my Transformers OC, Castrip. He's a blacksmith who has made his home where the Everfree Forest and Ponyville meet.

Early Life
Bronze Cast grew up in the countryside as an only child, which didn't bother him much as he naturally enjoyed keeping to himself. He was an inquisitive and introspective colt, which made him easy to raise, but it made connecting with his peers more difficult. While he was taught to be polite, he wasn't well socialized and as a result felt out of place once he entered school. For the most part, he kept his head down until he was old enough to learn his parent's trade. His father was a blacksmith and his mother was a jeweler. Bronze Cast was one of the last of his class to get his cutie mark, but once he started working with his parents, it wasn't long before it appeared. One morning, he was helping his mother fashion intricate metal leaves to make a necklace, and before he knew it similar golden laurels appeared on his flank.
Present Day
As an adult, he lives on the edge of the Everfree forest because he enjoys the solitude. Though his work as an adult is primarily blacksmithing, his mother's artistic influence can be found in the decorative details he enjoys adding when he can.
